Luminox announces the launch of a new Bear Grylls watch series - the Bear Grylls Survival Land 3710 Series - engineered for adventure and built with cutting edge ALUMI-NOX material. In 2020, the Swiss watchmaker renowned for creating timepieces built to withstand the most extreme conditions, partnered with acclaimed British, former military, turned survivalist, Bear Grylls. Together they have launched over 30 watches to date. In keeping with its namesake and collection DNA, the newest timepieces are designed for the harshest terrains and toughest conditions while remaining incredibly lightweight—a tribute to Bear Grylls’ passion for exploration and extreme survival.
The 3710 Series provides a unique model in the Bear Grylls collection, combining a clean, field watch design with the rugged durability for which Luminox is known. The watch features a super-light aerospace-grade aluminum case, ensuring long-wearing comfort for explorers who spend extended periods in the wild. The ALUMI-NOX case material sets the 3710 Series apart, offering superior protection against the elements. This aerospace-grade aluminum is not only ultra-lightweight but also anti-corrosive, forming a natural protective barrier against moisture. Additionally, it is anti-magnetic, ensuring precise timekeeping even in challenging environments.
“The introduction of ALUMI-NOX marks a significant advancement in our durable material innovation,” says Pierrick Marcoux, Group Product Director at Luminox. “This aerospace-grade aluminum offers great strength-to-weight performance, but also high resistance to corrosion and a modern finish – a game-changer for anyone who lives life outdoors.”
The contrasting sand-textured dials enhance readability, while Luminox Light Technology used for the hour markers guarantee visibility in any lighting conditions. The signature Bear Grylls touches, including the orange crown, his iconic logo at 10 o’clock and his Never Give Up mantra engraved on the case back, represent the spirit of endurance and adventure that define the partnership.
Available in Sand or Anthracite colorways, the Swiss Made watch boasts a 43mm case, Swiss Quartz RONDA movement, sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating, and a sand or black rubber strap respectively. With 10 ATM water resistance rating and 14 LLTs (Luminox Light Technology) for constant visibility, the Bear Grylls 3710 Series is built to perform day or night, during land expeditions.
Luminox continues to push the boundaries of adventure-ready timepieces, and the Bear Grylls 3710 Series is the latest innovation to equip those who refuse to give up.
