Arctic Edition

3500 series

For over three decades, we have been the trusted timepiece of choice for the Navy SEALs, extreme adventurers, and survivalists. The Navy SEAL 3500 - Arctic Edition continues this legacy, merging tactical reliability with an arctic-inspired design, ready for the world’s most chilling and demanding environments.

Discover The Navy SEAL Series

The partnership between Luminox and the Navy SEALs began in 1992 when Nick North, the Assistant Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) Officer, sought a watch that would withstand the rigors and the harshest conditions of night missions. The Navy SEAL Series became the watch of choice for the Navy SEALs, thanks to its ultra-light weight, extreme durability, and unmatched Luminox Light Technology (LLT).

Get to know the designs and functions of Navy SEALs’ chosen timepieces.

The Case Back

CARBONOX™ case backs deliver lightweight comfort and exceptional durability, protecting your watch from everyday wear and impacts. Being non-allergenic and anti-magnetic ensures comfortable, worry-free wear, while its resistance to corrosion keeps your watch looking great for longer.

Geschraubter Gehäuseboden

SCREW-ON

The case back is secured to the watch using several individual small screws. These screws pass through the case back and thread into the case itself. Removing this type of case back requires unscrewing each of these individual fasteners. While providing a secure closure, it's easily identifiable by the visible screws on the back of the watch.

SCREW-IN

This type of case back features threads around its entire circumference, allowing it to be directly screwed into the watch case. This method provides an exceptionally secure seal, contributing to higher water resistance ratings.

Kronenschutz

SECURITY GASKETS
These internal seals create a watertight barrier around the crown opening, preventing water, dust, and other particles from entering the watch case and damaging the movement. This crucial feature safeguards the watch's longevity and reliability, allowing you to wear it with confidence in various environments.

SCREW IN
This design allows the crown to be tightly screwed down against the case, creating a robust seal that significantly boosts water resistance and protects the delicate inner mechanisms from moisture and dust. This added security ensures the crown is less likely to be accidentally pulled, maintaining the watch's integrity in demanding conditions.
