JUST IN TIME FOR EARTH DAY, LUMINOX LAUNCHES NEW BEAR GRYLLS MASTER COLLECTION USING #TIDE ECOFRIENDLY UPCYCLED PLASTIC MATERIALS
Case, Bezel and Strap in #tide Material Helping to Eliminate Plastic Ocean
Luminox strives to excel in sustainability and the newest collection of watches in partnership with Bear Grylls is the perfect example of their efforts. The Survival Master series uses #tide upcycled plastic from water bottles reclaimed from the ocean for its case, bezel and straps creating a new chronograph, which comes in three dial and strap colorway options: Yellow, Green and Blue. Each of the three models will have a green case and bezel made from the sustainable material with the Bear Grylls logo prominently featured at the 4 o’clock position. The case back of the watch includes Luminox, Bear Grylls and #tide logos to commemorate the collaboration.
Luminox Parent Company Lumondi Maintains CO2 Neutrality since 2020
Luminox parent company, Lumondi, has taken great strides to lead the Swiss watch industry in their sustainability efforts achieving and maintaining CO2 neutrality since 2020. Not willing to rest upon their laurels, the company continues to push forward to design a more sustainable product with this collaboration. With the new Master Series, Luminox meets the challenge in both watch and packaging, so there is no longer a need to choose between functionality, durability and sustainability – this chronograph is all three.
Both a survivalist and environmentalist, Bear Grylls is the symbol of the quest for sustainability and together with Luminox, they present their newest collaboration – Master Series #tide Chronograph.
Bear Grylls said, “Earth Day has a special meaning to me as I spend so much time in the wild on my many adventures. This new timepiece from Luminox is both great for keeping time and for helping the environment by utilizing #Tide upcycled materials.”
